I’m a wife, boy mom and General Practitioner in Hillcrest, Durban. I have a passion for medicine and thoroughly enjoy my work. I love meeting new patients, getting to know the whole family and empowering my patients. I have a special interest in anaesthesia and rural medicine as well as treating diseases of lifestyle, I am happy to see all ages and conditions. I believe in not only treating the disease, but the person as a whole. I studied at Nelson Mandela School of Clinical Medicine, did my internship in Klerksdorp and community service at Mpumalanga province. From there I spent time working in Internal Medicine, Intensive care unit and Anaesthesia. My postgraduate qualifications include diplomas in Anaesthesia and advanced life support certificates.
I was born in Kokstad and raised in Newcastle. I am genuinely passionate about continuous learning and ups killing my knowledge in my career. My interests are cooking, listening to music, reading books and knitting. I attend to you healthcare needs at the practice. I have a desire to make a change in the lives of others, because I CARE.
